Grilled Goat Cheese Sandwich with Chives Recipe

This grilled goat cheese sandwich with chives makes a tasty and quick lunch or dinner. The tangy goat cheese complements the fresh chives and crispy sourdough bread perfectly.

Ingredients

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Warm a grill pan or panini press over medium heat.
  • On one side of each slice of bread, spread the butter.
  • Spread 1 oz of goat cheese on each of the other two slices of bread.
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp.
  • of chopped chives over the goat cheese on each slice.
  • Place the remaining two slices of bread, butter side up, on top of the goat cheese and chives.
  • Grill the sandwiches for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, on a grill pan or panini press.
  • Remove the sandwiches from the heat and set aside for a minute or two before slicing in half and serving.
