This grilled cheese sandwich with mayo, guacamole, and ketchup takes a different approach to the classic grilled cheese sandwich. The mayonnaise adds a crispy exterior to the bread, while the guacamole adds a creamy texture and the ketchup adds a touch of sweetness. It's a quick and easy option for lunch or dinner.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 6 minutes
  • Total Time: 11 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet on medium heat.
  • On one side of each slice of bread, spread mayonnaise.
  • One slice of cheese should be placed on the non-mayonnaise side of one slice of bread.
  • Guacamole should be spread on top of the cheese.
  • Place the remaining cheese slice on top of the guacamole.
  • On the non-mayonnaise side of the other slice of bread, spread ketchup.
  • Place the ketchup-side-down bread slice on top of the cheese.
  • Butter the outsides of both slices of bread.
  • Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown on both sides.
  • Allow to cool for a minute before slicing in half and serving.
