French Toast Grilled Cheese Recipe
French Toast Grilled Cheese is a delectable take on a classic sandwich that combines the flavors of french toast and grilled cheese into one delectable dish. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- In a skillet, melt a small amount of butter.
- Coat both sides of each slice of bread with the egg mixture.
- To make two sandwiches, layer two slices of cheese on two slices of bread and top with the remaining bread slices.
- Cook the sandwiches in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving after removing from the skillet.
