Spinach Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Ketchup Recipe

Melted cheddar cheese and fresh spinach top this delectable grilled cheese sandwich. The addition of ketchup adds a tangy and sweet flavor that complements the sandwich perfectly. It's ideal for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

• 4 slices cheddar cheese
• 4 slices of bread
• 4 tbsp ketchup
• 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 5 minutes
• Cook Time: 8 minutes
• Total Time: 13 minutes

Instructions

• Put one slice of cheese on each of the two slices of bread.
• Add 1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves to each slice of cheese.
• On each slice of bread, place another slice of cheese on top of the spinach.
• Add the remaining 2 slices of bread to each sandwich.
• Butter the outsides of each slice of bread.
• Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
• Cook each sandwich in the skillet until golden brown, 3-4 minutes per side.
• Serve immediately with ketchup on the side.
